Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Proven experience in school-based OT, home health, or healthcare settings
- Solid understanding of fine and gross motor skill development
- Experience developing and implementing individualized plans for students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
- Ability to efficiently manage time and case load in a dynamic environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy to improve fine motor, gross motor, and daily living skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting for student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate student participation and success in school activities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Support students in both pull-out and push-in therapy models
