School Psychologist – 2026–2027 School Year in East Lyme, CT

We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time position in East Lyme, Connecticut. This position is available ASAP and will run through December 31, 2026.

This role will support students at the elementary level with a manageable caseload of approximately 20 students. Responsibilities will include a combination of counseling services and psychoeducational evaluations, making this a great opportunity for a School Psychologist who enjoys both direct student support and assessment responsibilities.

Schedule: Full-Time
Hours: 8:45 AM–3:45 PM
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: December 31, 2026
Grade Level: Elementary
Caseload: Approximately 20 students
Primary Responsibilities: Counseling and Evaluations
Pay: Starting at $45/hour

Responsibilities
Provide counseling services to elementary-aged students
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
Complete assessment reports and maintain required evaluation timelines
Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
Collaborate with teachers, staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Provide recommendations and student support based on assessment results
Maintain accurate documentation and student records
Qualifications
Valid Connecticut School Psychologist certification/licensure
Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
Strong assessment, counseling, and report writing skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to effectively manage evaluation and counseling responsibilities
Collaborative and student-centered mindset
