What you’ll need to succeed:
- Active Alabama Special Education Teaching certification (required for consideration)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
- Previous classroom or resource teaching experience preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and legal regulations
- Ability to develop and implement individualized lesson plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and parents

Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to students with diverse needs in a supportive classroom environment

- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings with families
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development sessions
