Special Education Teacher in Tempe, AZ

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid state certification in Special Education Teaching
• Experience in SEAL and/or PALS programs preferred

• Flexibility in approach to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction to students in self-contained special education settings
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Implement SEAL and/or PALS program requirements as outlined by the school
• Track and document student progress, participating in IEP meetings as needed
• Coordinate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
