Qualifications & Experience:

• Active New Mexico state Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Valid New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) teacher certification
• Open to both Clinical Fellows (CF) and those with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs)
• Experience or interest in working with elementary and secondary age students
• Strong commitment to fostering communication and social skills in a school setting
• Comfortable managing caseloads of approximately 40-50 students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to set goals and monitor progress
• Offer direct therapy as well as consultative support within classrooms
• Maintain accurate records, comply with reporting requirements, and stay up-to-date with best practices and regulations
