Job Description
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as an onsite School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled professional who thrives in a school setting and enjoys supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development.
You’ll provide expertise in assessment, intervention, and consultation at a respected institution near Andover, MN, working 0.4 FTE (approximately 15 hours per week) Monday through Friday. Collaboration and insight are essential as you help shape positive outcomes for students across several school locations. While the school prefers an onsite psychologist, they will also consider a qualified onsite School Social Worker.
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist License (required for consideration)
- Proven experience as a School Psychologist within K-12 settings
- Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Resume must be submitted as part of your application
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
- Participate in meetings to develop and monitor student IEPs and 504 plans
- Provide individual and group counseling services
- Consult with teachers, school staff, and families on behavioral and academic strategies
- Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation according to district and state guidelines
