Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students across a dynamic school environment for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is based onsite, with a consistent 37.5-hour full-time weekly schedule, starting August 11, 2026, and concluding June 6, 2027. Several engaging caseload options are available, including supporting specialized day classes at a single site or working across two campuses with diverse student groups from transitional kindergarten to post-secondary levels.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology certification and license in California
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience in K-12 or post-secondary educational settings, especially with Special Day Classes (intensive and mild/moderate)
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience working with a full range of student needs, including intensive and mild/mod populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive, in-person therapeutic services to students, supporting speech, language, and communication development
  • Assess, diagnose, and document students’ needs, progress, and outcomes in alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective strategies and interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records for compliance
  • Provide direct intervention in small groups and individualized settings as part of a multidisciplinary team
