Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Overland Park, Kansas

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience in operating room (OR) nursing
• Current BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of surgical asepsis, sterile technique, and patient safety protocols
• Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub for surgical procedures according to facility policies and best practices
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery, responding promptly to changes
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR team members to ensure efficient and safe surgical operations
• Conduct surgical counts, verify patient identification, and maintain accurate documentation
• Provide support and education to patients and their families about surgical procedures and postoperative care
• Adhere to all infection control and safety regulations throughout the perioperative period

$1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
