Step into an essential role providing speech and language support for elementary students in a contract position designed to cover a maternity leave. Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathology license
- GaPSC SLP Educator Certification required
- CCC credential strongly preferred
- Previous experience supporting school-aged children, especially in an elementary setting
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and collaborate effectively with educators and families
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing speech and language therapy to K-5 students as outlined in IEPs
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine individual needs
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians
- Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Offering consultation and in-services to staff as needed
- Participating in meetings and team planning for student support
This full-time contract is set for approximately 37.5 hours per week and runs through early October 2026, giving you the opportunity to play a pivotal part during a critical period for these young learners.
