Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as an Intervention Specialist preferred
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher within a school setting
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with colleagues and families
- Committed to providing specially designed instruction (SDI) and progress monitoring
Core Responsibilities:
- Write comprehensive and individualized IEPs tailored to student needs
- Facilitate IEP meetings and actively participate in team collaboration
- Provide direct instruction and support aligned with each student’s learning plan
- Monitor student progress, collect data, and create detailed progress reports
- Adapt lessons and instructional strategies to promote student growth
- Engage in ongoing communication with families and multidisciplinary staff
Position Details:
- Number of openings: 3
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday
- Serve a K-8 caseload of 16 students at one convenient site
- Start as soon as possible, continuing through May 28, 2027
