This contract opportunity is for two onsite professionals, working with a manageable caseload of 55 students in a dynamic educational environment. Desired Background and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong skills in evaluation, development, and implementation of IEPs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Compassionate, innovative, and adaptable approach to student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of 55 students in-person
- Complete evaluations and write comprehensive reports for eligibility and progress
- Develop and execute effective treatment plans targeting each learner’s unique goals
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with special education requirements
- Consult with educators and families for best practices supporting student communication
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the collaborative school environment
