Our partner, a well-established behavioral health organization in the Kansas City metro area, is seeking a Medical Director to join its Executive Leadership Team. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Medical Director or a high-performing psychiatrist ready to step into a broader leadership role. You’ll help lead mental health and substance use services, oversee providers, and shape the future of care delivery across a community-focused system.

Work Schedule and Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for clients and maintain active case load \n
- Supervise and support psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other providers \n
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and program development \n
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations \n
- Recruit, train, and evaluate medical staff \n
- Represent the organization in community and professional settings \n
Qualifications and/or Licensing Requirements
\n- \n
- Graduate from an accredited School of Medicine, MD or DO \n
- Completion of Psychiatry residency program \n
- Board certification in Psychiatry \n
- Active Kansas medical license \n
- DEA certification \n
