Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A hospital is seeking a licensed pharmacist to support their clinical pharmacy services in a smaller hospital setting of approximately 80 beds. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a dedicated healthcare team to provide quality patient care through medication management and clinical expertise.

Responsibilities include reviewing medication orders, ensuring safe and effective drug therapy, collaborating with medical staff, and participating in clinical rounds. The pharmacist will also counsel patients, monitor drug utilization, and contribute to the overall medication safety and compliance programs in the hospital.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active New Mexico pharmacy license
  • Experience as a clinical pharmacist, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting
  • Strong knowledge of medication therapy management and clinical pharmacology
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
