PRIMARY DUTIES:
The staff nurse is tasked with delivering nursing care to patients across all stages of life, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role operates within the guidelines set forth by the organization and emphasizes professional development and accountability. The staff nurse is also responsible for upholding practice standards and coordinating the patient care activities of all assigned personnel to ensure high-quality nursing care.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Completion of an accredited nursing program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
New graduates from nursing programs are welcome to apply.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
A valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or a current NLC/eNLC Multistate License is required.
BLS certification is mandatory.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
For PRN roles: A year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area is a plus (refer to addendum).
Prior nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
