Respiratory Therapist - Certified

Job Overview

This role involves conducting patient evaluations, executing standard respiratory care procedures, performing arterial blood gas punctures and analyses, managing and maintaining essential equipment, and providing education to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments.

QualificationsEducation

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care Sciences or a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required.

Work Experience

• No prior experience is necessary.

Licenses and Certifications

• Must be credentialed as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care and hold a license from the State of Georgia through the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
