Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical obstetrical and gynecological services, along with related administrative and on-call duties for our patients.
  • Ensure the provision of consistent, high-quality, evidence-based medical care.
  • Assist office personnel in developing and executing efficient operational practices.
  • Act as a liaison between practice management and hospital administration on behalf of the practice.
  • Facilitate communication with staff on behalf of practice management and hospital administration.
  • Promote a unified identity within the obstetrics and gynecology group.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards relevant to obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Manage patient care in a manner that aligns the practice's objectives with the broader health system goals.
  • Prioritize patient needs at all times.
  • Contribute to the health system's strategic objectives.
Work Schedule

This role involves 24-hour on-call shifts 4-5 times monthly, with in-office responsibilities 3-4 times per week. The position can be based in either Canandaigua or Geneva.

Educational Requirements
  • Must have graduated from an accredited medical school (M.D. or D.O.).
  • Completion of a residency program in obstetrics and gynecology is essential.
  • Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding is preferred.
  • Must maintain continuing medical education (CME) as required for board certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is mandatory.
Qualifications
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Must hold an unrestricted New York State medical license or be eligible for licensure in New York.
  • DEA licensure is required.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $280,000 and $380,000, depending on experience. The compensation includes a two-year salary guarantee, transitioning to a productivity-based model thereafter.
