We are currently in search of a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to enhance our UPMC Hillman Cancer Team. Ideal candidates will possess exceptional clinical abilities, a passion for delivering top-notch care, and an interest in engaging in various clinical trials available within the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center network. Applicants should hold or be eligible to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license and be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. We welcome those needing a J-1 visa waiver or H-1B sponsorship after a J-1 waiver to apply. Our compensation package is competitive and reflects the candidate's experience.
The selected candidate will work in a recently updated facility on the Somerset hospital campus, which provides cutting-edge medical oncology treatments and access to clinical trials. Physicians will be well-supported as part of a cohesive, physician-led network of healthcare professionals. Collaborate with a skilled team of medical oncologists, hematologists, advanced practice providers, specialized oncology nurses, laboratory staff, pharmacists, and support personnel. Experience significant growth in a practice that encompasses both outpatient and inpatient medical consultations, chemotherapy, laboratory services, and supportive therapy visits. Patient care is delivered in both clinic and hospital settings from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities shared among physician colleagues.

About Somerset Hospital:
Somerset Hospital is a licensed facility with 118 beds, serving approximately 3,900 inpatients, over 140,000 outpatients, and nearly 18,000 emergency cases each year. The hospital features a range of medical/surgical beds, pediatric beds, obstetric/gynecology beds, nursery cribs, an intensive coronary care unit, skilled nursing beds, and a neuropsychiatric service for adults, adolescents, and children with an 18-bed hospital-based unit.
Additional services include medical oncology, a sleep lab, a dialysis center, a cardiac catheterization lab, a pain management program, occupational health, and community education. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care, along with ancillary services such as radiology, laboratory, rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary services, orthopedics, inpatient/outpatient drug and alcohol services, and hospice care.
