Job Description
Step into a key role supporting students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers meaningful work in a collaborative educational setting near Philadelphia, PA. You'll provide expert guidance and interventions to positively impact the learning experience of students in grades 1 through 8.
In this position, you’ll work weekdays from 8am–3pm, beginning September 1st through the end of the school year, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch daily. Your commitment will directly influence student success, staff development, and school-wide support systems.
Key Requirements:
- Active BCBA certification
- Experience working with K-8 students is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and support staff
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Flexibility and commitment to a full school-year contract
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized interventions for students in grades 1-8
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to teachers and staff
- Facilitate functional behavior assessments and data-driven decision making
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed
- Consult with families and caregivers to extend behavioral supports beyond the school setting
- Participate in staff meetings, IEPs, and professional development activities
