A career opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations while fostering a collaborative environment with the store operations team. The role is located in Tyrone, PA, offering a direct hire position with a variable schedule including day and afternoon shifts. The start date is ASAP, providing immediate engagement in a dynamic pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with store operations to enhance associate engagement and communicate departmental and company strategies effectively.
  • Ensure prescription accuracy through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, complying with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
  • Manage the pharmacy department to drive profitability and script growth via clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Work closely with the District Manager and pharmacy staff to control inventory and meet customer demand.
  • Align performance objectives with key department metrics to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by assisting with medical-related inquiries and healthcare counseling.
  • Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline.
  • Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer complaints to build trust and loyalty.
  • Interact with physicians and use reference materials to address prescription-related issues.
  • Oversee pharmacy cleanliness, ongoing staff development, task prioritization, inventory management, and timely completion of department duties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
