Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity making a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Red Rock, AZ. This engaging full-time, full-school-year assignment is an itinerant role across three high school sites, focusing primarily on Mountain View H.S., with additional students at Vista and MCAT locations. You’ll manage a dynamic caseload of approximately 60-70 students, supporting individuals with needs ranging from mild articulation challenges to more significant disabilities and adaptive cluster programs, including those on the autism spectrum.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid and active Arizona state SLP licensure and standard certificate
  • Current IVP fingerprint clearance card
  • Prior experience in school-based settings, especially with high school populations, is strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel between multiple sites as required

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in alignment with IEP goals
  • Carry out thorough documentation and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Support students with a wide range of disabilities, including those in adaptive cluster programs and with ASD
