Key Qualifications:

• Valid credential in Special Education or eligibility for mild/moderate authorization in California
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to write and implement individualized plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with families, general education staff, and support personnel
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs
• Flexibility, creativity, and a positive attitude

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for a caseload of elementary students
• Deliver direct instruction and support to students on-site, adapting lessons as necessary
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and administrators to promote student success
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, progress reports, and compliance with federal and state regulations
• Support students in developing self-advocacy, academic, and social-emotional skills
• Engage regularly with parents/guardians to communicate progress and develop strategies for continued growth
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions
