A respected pharmacy organization is seeking a Pharmacy Technician with sterile compounding experience to support home infusion and specialty pharmacy services. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive safe, accurate, and timely medication therapy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Sterile preparation and compounding of medications.
  • Prescription processing and order entry.
  • Maintaining compliance with USP standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring pharmacy inventory and supply levels.
  • Supporting patient refill coordination and delivery scheduling.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic records and documentation.
  • Assisting with quality assurance and pharmacy operational processes.
  • Communicating with patients, caregivers, providers, and internal teams to facilitate exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Active New York Pharmacy Technician license required
  • PTCB certification, or willingness to obtain certification within six months of employment
  • Completion of Sterile Compounding Training preferred
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical calculations, drug terminology, and aseptic technique
  • Experience with sterile compounding in a hospital, specialty pharmacy, or home infusion setting preferred
  • Familiarity with USP regulations and sterile compounding standards
  • At least 1+ year of Pharmacy Technician experience required
