Our organization is actively looking for a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join the UPMC Hillman Cancer Team. We are in search of physicians who possess outstanding clinical abilities and are dedicated to providing top-notch care while engaging in various clinical trials offered across the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center network. Ideal candidates should hold or be eligible to obtain a medical license in Pennsylvania and be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. We welcome applicants who require a J-1 visa waiver or H-1B sponsorship following a J-1 waiver. Compensation and benefits are competitive and based on experience.


The selected candidate will become the fourth physician in a thriving medical oncology practice situated in a modern facility on the UPMC Altoona hospital grounds, which provides cutting-edge medical oncology treatments and access to clinical trials. Physicians in this practice benefit from a supportive, integrated network of clinician leadership. Collaborate with a skilled team of medical oncologists/hematologists, advanced practice providers, specialized oncology nurses, laboratory staff, pharmacy, and additional support personnel. Experience significant growth in a practice that encompasses both outpatient and inpatient medical consultations, chemotherapy, laboratory services, and supportive therapy visits. Care is delivered in both the clinic and hospital from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with on-call responsibilities shared among physician colleagues.
