Job Description

Job Overview: Pay Range: $29.84hr - $34.84hr Requirement/Must Have: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Computer Science. Experience in process use and development with regards to product definition development, Bill of Material management, configuration management concepts, program/project scheduling and field installation. Responsibilities: Transform product requirements and engineering design intent into actionable product definition. Utilize Product Lifecycle Management (GTCC) and Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) space to deliver on-time and quality product definition to supply chain functions globally. Create and maintain project structure and Bill of Materials (BOM) for New Unit Requisitions from Order Release through the equipment's Commercial Operation Date (COD). Support Conversion, Modification and Uprate (CMU) projects. Generate and manage New Unit requisitions' Flange to Flange (F2F) and Accessories project structures for Steam Turbine and Generator products. Manage ST/GEN CMU Bill of Materials (BOMs). Create and maintain Engineering BOM (EBOM) and Unit BOMs along with the conversion and push of Manufacturing BOM (MBOM) to various ERP systems throughout the project's lifecycle. Support Inquiry to Order (ITO) team in the successful OTR transition of project scope definition in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool after Order Release Meeting (ORM). Collaborate with Project Engineering on the timely handoff of the requisition's scope definition within the PLM tool to the OTR CM team. Verify accurate generation of logical features per selected configuration features options and Variant Configuration Central (VCC) logic within PLM tool and enact necessary actions to resolve discrepancies. Support Preliminary Bill of Materials (PBOM) review meeting for Steam Turbine and Generator products. Validate standard parts selected through GBOM rules and support Configure to Order (CtO) efforts to maximize direct release percentage on requisition orders. Assist manufacturing and MSD sourcing teams in addressing concerns with bill of material timeliness and disconnects. Conduct regular BOM integrity monitoring and reporting. Execute configuration management roles and responsibilities in Change Management processes. Collaborate with other functions including Sourcing, Manufacturing, Project Engineering, and Design Engineering towards continuous improvement and Lean activities. Ensure that configuration management activities follow established procedures, processes, and contractual requirements.
