IU Health Medical Group is hiring! We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Trauma team at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN!
\nPosition Details:
\n- \n
- PRN \n
- Day Shift \n
- \n
- Shifts available based coverage needs. \n
- Minimum of 8 hours every 6 weeks \n
\n - No call \n
- 80% Inpatient and 20% Outpatient \n
- Team includes 8 physicians and 16 advanced practice providers \n
Key Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Orthopedic Trauma consults \n
- Inpatient Rounding \n
Procedures:
\n- \n
- Fracture/dislocation reductions \n
- Application of splints \n
- First Assist in the OR \n
- Joint Injections \n
- Joint Aspirations \n
- Wound Vac application and changes \n
- Traction Application \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA certification required \n
- At least 1 year of APP experience required \n
- APP experience in orthopedics preferred \n
