  Full time, newborn nursery and hospital pediatric coverage

  Schedule:

    Six (6) weekday shifts and two (2) weekend shifts per four (4) week cycle

  \n
  • \n

    There are thirteen (13) cycles per year

  \n
  • \n

    Each shift is twenty-four (24) hours

  \n
  • \n

    For weekday shifts, physician must be on-site at the hospital between 5:00PM - 10:00AM of each twenty four (24) hour shift and available via phone between 10:00AM 5:00PM

  \n
  • \n

    For weekend shifts, physician must be on-site at the hospital for the entire twenty-four (24) hour shift

  \n

  Hospital coverage includes rounding on newborns, attending c-sections (both scheduled and emergent), managing photo therapy, occasional pedi consults to E.D. or floors, and stabilization of newborns for transport

• Faculty opportunity with Quinnipiac University teaching med students

  No circumcisions
