IU Health Physicians is seeking an Anesthetist in Indianapolis, IN!
\nPosition Highlights:
\n- \n
- Participate in the growth of the anesthetist profession within the adult academic health center including IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals \n
- Involvement in student, resident and fellow training, including a faculty appointment \n
- Full-Time, Monday-Friday, flexible scheduling - will consider 4x10s, 3x13s and 5x8s \n
- No weekend work or call required \n
- Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities including: endoscopy, ERCP, GYN, ENT, dental, plastics, urology, ortho, trauma, NORA, general, neuro, and spine. Plans to expand anesthetist coverage to vascular, cardiac, and OB \n
- Procedures include: IV placement, airway management, arterial & central cath placement, general & regional anesthesia \n
Qualifications:

- Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant: \n
- \n
- Must have graduated with a Master’s degree from a CAAHEP accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program \n
- Must have passed the Certifying Examination for Anesthesiologist Assistants or the CDQ examination and hold current certification \n
\n - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist: \n
- \n
- Must have graduated from Master’s level Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs \n
- Must have passed the National Certification Examination and hold current certification from the Council of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists \n
\n - Must hold current ACLS and PALS certifications \n
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Indiana \n
