IU Health Physicians is seeking an Anesthetist in Indianapolis, IN!

Position Highlights:

\n
    \n
  • Participate in the growth of the anesthetist profession within the adult academic health center including IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals
  • \n
  • Involvement in student, resident and fellow training, including a faculty appointment
  • \n
  • Full-Time, Monday-Friday, flexible scheduling - will consider 4x10s, 3x13s and 5x8s
  • \n
  • No weekend work or call required
  • \n
  • Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities including: endoscopy, ERCP, GYN, ENT, dental, plastics, urology, ortho, trauma, NORA, general, neuro, and spine. Plans to expand anesthetist coverage to vascular, cardiac, and OB
  • \n
  • Procedures include: IV placement, airway management, arterial & central cath placement, general & regional anesthesia
  • \n

Qualifications:

\n
    \n
  • Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant: \n
      \n
    • Must have graduated with a Master’s degree from a CAAHEP accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
    • \n
    • Must have passed the Certifying Examination for Anesthesiologist Assistants or the CDQ examination and hold current certification
    • \n
  • \n
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist: \n
      \n
    • Must have graduated from Master’s level Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
    • \n
    • Must have passed the National Certification Examination and hold current certification from the Council of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
    • \n
  • \n
  • Must hold current ACLS and PALS certifications
  • \n
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Indiana
  • \n
