Job Title: OB/GYN Physician

Position Overview:
\n Defiance Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate OB/GYN to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this full-time position, you will provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecological care to patients of all ages. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide prenatal, postnatal, and gynecological care for women at all stages of life.
\n
• Perform routine examinations, screenings, and diagnostic tests.
\n
• Offer expert consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for a range of obstetric and gynecological conditions.
\n
• Manage labor and delivery, including cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries.
\n
• Counsel patients on family planning, contraception, and reproductive health.
\n
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend duties as required.
\n
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
\n
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
\n
• Active, unrestricted Ohio medical license or ability to obtain one.
\n
• Strong clinical knowledge in OB/GYN, including high-risk obstetrics and routine gynecological care.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
\n
• Ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, evolving medical environment.
\n

Preferred Skills & Experience:

\n
• Experience in minimally invasive surgical procedures (laparoscopy).
\n
• Expertise in managing complex obstetric cases.
\n
• Leadership experience or interest in mentoring junior medical staff.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
\n
