Job Description
Specialty: Radiation Oncology
Location: Greenville, SC
Work Environment: Inpatient
Coverage Dates: October 1 - February 28, requiring 2-3 days of work per week, specifically Monday through Wednesday. Holiday coverage will be necessary.
Schedule: Monday to Wednesday from 7 AM to 4 PM. There are no on-call responsibilities.
Call Coverage: None required
Number of Providers Needed: 1
Reason for Coverage: Maternity Leave
Practice Setting: Outpatient/Hospital-Based
Leadership Role: Not required to teach
Patient Demographic: 100% Adult
Outpatient vs. Inpatient Ratio: 100% outpatient
Average Patient Load: 10-15 patients daily, with variations on On Treatment Visit Days
Trauma Level Designation: Not applicable
Required Duties and Skills- Familiarity with Varian equipment is preferred
- Participation in tumor board meetings for patients under your care
- ARIA for treatment documentation
- EPIC for clinical records
Additional Information: Linear accelerators are available on-site at the Cancer Center, which includes clinic support from RNs and MAs. Physics, dosimetry, and therapy staff are also present on-site.
