Job Description
As an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon within our organization’s healthcare team, you will leverage state-of-the-art technology to assess, diagnose, and treat Soldiers and their families. Your role may involve researching military-relevant diseases, engaging in medical education, leading medical units, implementing patient care and health promotion initiatives, and fulfilling specialized staff roles in health support. - A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), or a combined DDS/DMD degree from a dental program accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA) in the United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or Canada.
- Completion of an ADA-accredited advanced specialty education program in oral & maxillofacial surgery, approved by the Surgeon General.
- Ages between 21 and 42 (waivers may be requested).
- A valid license to practice dentistry.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
