Function: WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Lawrence, MA. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for managing the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions. Provide support, education and comfort to patients and their families during their emergency room experience. Close communication with all members of the healthcare team, as well as the ability to independently recognize the need for early intervention. Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing. They will either reject or move forward with Initial Phone Screen If candidate is chosen for next steps, HWL Clinical team will reach out to candidate directly via phone call and text to set up a time to complete phone screen. Once phone screen is completed, interview notes and packet will be sent over to the hiring manager with the facility. Depending on unit, manager will either call for a 2nd interview or there will be an offer based off of initial phone screen.
