Participates in all clinical pharmacy services, supports distributive pharmacy services, and ensures the pharmacy provides optimal pharmaceutical care to all patients on a daily basis. Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes, as well as pharmacy programs that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies for all age groups.
Responsibilities: \n- \n
- Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients. \n
- Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned. \n
- Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies. \n
- Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients. \n
- Contribute to the educational goals of the department. \n
- Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes. \n
Pharmacy Residency preferred but not required.
Qualifications: \nEducation
\n- \n
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy. \n
Experience:
\n- \n
- Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required. \n
- Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting. \n
Licensure/Certification
\n- \n
- Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy. \n
- Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire. \n
- Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire. \n
- Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area. \n
Compensation/Benefits
\n\n
Up to $81.87/hr. based on previous work experience.

- Weekday Evening differential $3.00/hr. Weekday Night differential $3.50/hr. \n
- Weekend Day differential $3.50/hr (stacks on evening OR night differential) \n
- Weekend Evening differential $6.50 \n
- Weekend Night differential $7.00 \n
