Job Description
This opportunity offers a professional retail pharmacy role in Dingmans Ferry, PA within a well-established supermarket setting. The position is full-time with variable day and afternoon shifts, requiring approximately 69 hours biweekly. Immediate start is desired for a Direct Hire placement.
As the pharmacist, you will oversee all pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and quality assurance processes. You will foster a collaborative relationship with store leadership and pharmacy associates, communicating company and departmental strategies effectively.
Key responsibilities include driving prescription growth and clinical program participation such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management. Inventory control, staff supervision, training, and performance management aimed at meeting seven critical pharmacy department metrics are essential. Delivering excellent customer service through counseling, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a secure, well-organized pharmacy environment are priorities.
Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree, possess an active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license, and have a valid Pennsylvania Immunization license. Strong leadership skills and experience managing retail pharmacy operations are highly valued.
