School Psychologist in Hartford, CT

We are seeking two qualified professionals to fill contract assignments within supportive school communities. These positions offer the opportunity to make a significant impact through collaboration with educators, students, and families while working onsite.

Your role will involve providing direct psychological services, conducting assessments, and supporting student success through tailored interventions. Assignments are scheduled as follows: one position serves a high school from late August 2026 to March 2027, and the second serves an elementary setting from late October 2026 to mid-January 2027. Both assignments require a 35-hour workweek.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• An active Connecticut School Psychologist license (required)
• Demonstrated experience in school-based psychological assessment, consultation, and intervention
• Strong communication skills with students, staff, and parents
• Proven ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Flexibility to adapt approaches for diverse student populations
• A collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary teamwork

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and report findings
• Develop data-driven recommendations for interventions and supports
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Support crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to facilitate student learning and wellbeing
• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation according to school policies

Working on site, you’ll engage directly with students and staff, fostering positive change in the school community. The contract assignments begin August 27, 2026, and October 20, 2026, respectively.
