Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support at-home chronic care management by joining a dynamic mail order pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician III. This contract position offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, working from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., for a 13-week duration starting as soon as possible.

- Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately interpret sig codes and select appropriate pharmaceutical products
- Process prescription refills and manage prescription orders efficiently
- Perform data entry tasks, verify insurance coverage, and resolve claim rejections
- Prepare, label, and package medications for pharmacist review and approval
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by conducting cycle counts and managing returns
- Respond to inbound and outbound patient calls, and handle prescriber requests professionally
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and company protocols
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Active Virginia Pharmacy Technician licensure
- PTCB certification required
- Excellent communication skills with capabilities in multitasking and time management
- Ability to work effectively in a patient-centered environment
