This full-time, on-site opportunity calls for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to work across 6–7 schools, all within a consistently assigned zone based on your ZIP code for a manageable commute. Using the district office as your professional hub, you'll deliver essential services supporting students ages 3 to 21, conducting evaluations, attending ARDs, and focusing on therapy needs across a thoughtfully managed caseload.
What You’ll Bring:
- Current and active Occupational Therapy licensure in Texas
- Successful completion of state fingerprinting/background check
- Experience in school-based or pediatric OT (COTA's with extensive relevant backgrounds will be considered)
- Familiarity with documentation using SHARES, Onward, or similar software
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to independently manage a diverse caseload
- Openness to asking critical employment history questions as required (e.g., previous employment or termination from a district)
- Availability for a consistent Monday–Friday, full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week)
What You’ll Do:
- Serve students aged 3–21 across multiple campuses in a supportive zone
- Provide direct treatments and consultations (approximately 70 students total, 30–40 requiring direct services on a rotating schedule)
- Participate in evaluations, IEP documentation, and ARD meetings
- Maintain thorough, organized documentation using district health software and Excel logs for IEPs
- Operate independently as the lead OT, focusing solely on treatment delivery
- Adapt your approach to the flexible rotation needs of each school site
