Special Education Teacher in Euclid, OH

Make an immediate impact by supporting students in a dedicated, full-time contract role in special education close to Euclid, OH. Work from one school site with a manageable caseload of 16 students, serving a dynamic K-8 population. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Current licensure as an Intervention Specialist preferred
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher in school settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development, SDI, and progress monitoring
• Ability to serve K-8 students, flexibly adapting to various needs and grade levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with staff and families
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct and participate in IEP meetings with parents and educational teams
• Deliver specially designed instruction (SDI) according to student IEPs
• Complete accurate and timely progress reports for each student
• Maintain thorough documentation on student performance and program fidelity
• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
