An opportunity is available for a skilled outpatient infusion pharmacist to support oncology and infusion patients in a hospital outpatient setting. This contract position requires a focus on safety, accuracy, and patient care in the preparation and dispensing of both hazardous and non-hazardous medications. The pharmacist will play a crucial role in the verification and review of medication orders to ensure the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.

Location: Littleton, CO
Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • 13-week contract beginning August 31

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough review and verification of medication orders for oncology and infusion therapy patients
  • Prepare and dispense hazardous and non-hazardous medications in compliance with safety protocols
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of medications
  • Utilize EPIC EMR to document and manage patient medication records
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospital outpatient pharmacy, preferably with oncology and infusion exposure
  • Active Colorado pharmacist license required (license must be in-hand)
  • Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records system
  • No first-time travelers; prior travel pharmacy experience preferred
