This full-time position offers you the chance to work closely with 60-65 students on an on-site basis, supporting communication development in a school environment located in vibrant Fort Worth, TX. The role spans the school year calendar, providing consistency for both you and the students you’ll serve.
Desired Background:
- Active and current Texas SLPA license is required
- Previous experience with a school-based SLPA setting is highly valued
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred, but monolingual candidates are also encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently while integrating into the educational team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students according to IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and session notes
- Assist in implementing various speech and language activities as directed by supervising SLP
- Participate in school-based meetings as needed
- Support a single school site, providing continuity and fostering student relationships

- On-site position only; virtual/remote work is not available for this opportunity
- Hours offered are up to 37.5 per week during the academic year
