Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)Job OverviewThe Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) is tasked with providing exceptional nursing care to patients by:
- Utilizing strong organizational and leadership abilities to assess patient conditions
- Identifying and prioritizing patient issues and needs
- Implementing clinical nursing interventions
- Possessing a diverse range of skills
- Creating and executing patient care plans to enhance outcomes
- Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide care for groups of patients in a dynamic, high-intensity environment as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on optimal patient and population outcomes
- Evaluate, update, and modify care plans to ensure achievement of expected outcomes
- Act as the primary contact for patient care coordination across hospital departments
- Deliver care to a wide range of patients, from short-stay cases to trauma
- Administer medications safely in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in Nursing

Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred at hire; must obtain from an approved source prior to direct patient care; ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience as a Registered Nurse (RN); recent experience in an Emergency Department or Critical Care setting is preferred but not mandatory
- Training: EPIC Electronic Health Record training is preferred but not required

Salary Range:
- Minimum: $34.33
- Maximum: $54.93
