The Team

As the newest addition to our expanding, state-of-the-art program, you will be the tenth board-certified Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician. Our team comprises seven full-time and two part-time board-certified MFMs, along with three perinatal nurse practitioners. We are part of a larger medical group that employs over 900 physicians across more than 60 specialties and is frequently recognized as a top workplace by various organizations.

Your role will involve delivering expert care in prenatal diagnostics, ultrasound, and MFM consultations within our AIUM-certified facility. Collaborate with our skilled sonographers, who engage in monthly training and a rigorous quality review process.

You will also have the chance to enhance your teaching abilities by working with medical students and OB/GYN residents. A supportive team of medical staff, physicians, and advanced practice providers will be your office family.

Our Hospital Perinatal Nurse Coordinator and the "Coordinated Care for Kids" program will assist in connecting expectant mothers with the appropriate specialists in MFM, OB, neonatology, genetics, and pediatric subspecialties. Monthly meetings with our neonatology and pediatric colleagues will strengthen interdepartmental relationships. Opportunities may arise to participate in the OB/GYN residency High Risk Obstetric Clinic. Experience in fetal echocardiography or chorionic villus sampling is advantageous.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide consultative care with no in-house call or delivery responsibilities.
  • Offer MFM inpatient consultative coverage for an average of 4-5 days per month, supported by our perinatal nurse practitioners and OB/GYN residents at the advanced AdventHealth Orlando Hospital.
  • Engage in telemedicine consultations for seven local hospitals, which collectively handle over 12,000 deliveries annually, averaging two calls per day.
  • Benefit from the support of our Level IV NICU, recognized for its outstanding neonatal outcomes and capable of caring for infants born at 22 weeks or later.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated OB hospitalist group that provides 24/7 coverage, leading our nationally recognized Placenta Accreta Program.
  • Work within a Level IV maternity center, collaborating with various pediatric and adult specialties, including pulmonary hypertension, genetics, oncology, and transplant medicine.
  • Access pregnancy termination services and compassionate perinatal palliative care, along with an outpatient bereavement program.
  • Expertise in performing cervical cerclages, including ultrasound or exam-indicated procedures, is a plus.
