Exciting Academic OBGYN Position

We are thrilled to present an opportunity for an OBGYN professional to join our expanding healthcare network, affiliated with a prominent academic institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Become part of a vibrant team of 18 physicians within a dynamic practice.
  • Collaborate with a group of 12 generalists, enhancing patient care and departmental synergy.
  • Engage in daily operations of the OBGYN division, providing direct clinical supervision to residents.
  • Deliver didactic instruction, including student lectures, seminars, and clinical teaching, in alignment with the curriculum established by the Clerkship Director.
  • Contribute to the clinical research initiatives within the department, assisting in patient recruitment as necessary.
  • Participate in on-call duties, averaging three nights per month, with a day off following each call.
  • Involve yourself in a modified hospitalist program with faculty coverage.
  • Engage in various clinical activities within the department.
  • Consult with the Chair regarding potential new market opportunities in OBGYN and participate in productivity and cost analysis projects.
  • Work closely with the Curriculum Committee to align departmental objectives with institutional goals.
Department Overview
  • Our OBGYN residency program operates within a teaching hospital, hosting twelve residents.
  • We offer a three-year neonatal-perinatal fellowship program, admitting one fellow annually.
  • The medical school provides training across 10 residency and 14 fellowship programs, with over 250 residents and fellows collaborating with 400 providers in 75 specialties.
  • Our healthcare network boasts over 750 beds, including two teaching hospitals and a pediatric facility, dedicated to enhancing the health of more than one million individuals.

Minimum Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree in medicine.
  • Eligibility for state licensure in the United States.
