Job Opportunity: Breast Radiologist

Our organization is excited to announce an opening for a Breast Radiologist to become part of our esteemed health system located in Altoona. We welcome applications from both general radiologists who wish to engage in a mix of breast imaging and generalist duties, as well as fellowship-trained breast imagers who prefer to focus exclusively on breast imaging. This is a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert breast imaging services.
  • Participate in general radiology tasks if applicable.
  • Engage in teaching and research opportunities through our clinical affiliation with the University of Pittsburgh Department of Radiology, if desired.
Qualifications
  • MD or equivalent degree.
  • Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Radiology.
  • Ability to secure an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.
  • MQSA certification is required.
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday daytime hours.
  • Some weekend on-call duties (negotiable).
  • 9 weeks of paid time off (PTO).
