We are actively seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team for the upcoming academic year. This position is an urgent need, and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply immediately for priority consideration.
Position Details
Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week
Duration: Approximately 175 Working Days
Setting: School-Based
Start Date: ASAP
Student Start Date: September 10
Caseload
Approximately 45 students
Primarily serving students in one school community, with occasional support in a neighboring area as needed
Students present with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and support goal development and progress reporting
- Ensure compliance with state, district, and special education requirements
Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and/or appropriate state credentials
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload and support students with diverse needs
