Position Overview

The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for managing inventory and ensuring the organization of supply stock areas. This role involves delivering shipments, supplies, and equipment across the campus. The technician will also build orders for restocking, deliver and organize replenishment stock in designated departments, and participate in inventory counts. Additionally, the technician will disinfect, store, and transport movable medical equipment while keeping track of inventory, expiration dates, and the delivery of clinical and specialty carts and trays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee inventory and organization of assigned medical supply stock areas, ensuring they are well-stocked, clean, and neatly arranged for easy access.
  • Monitor expiration dates of stock, rotate supplies as necessary, and inform supervisors when inventory levels fall below required thresholds.
  • Restock perpetual inventory locations, ensuring items are within expiration dates and properly rotated.
  • Retrieve, clean, store, and deliver movable medical equipment, ensuring it is ready for use.
  • Assist in cycle counts and periodic inventory checks as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Reassemble critical care and specialty carts and trays, ensuring all contents are within expiration dates.
  • Transport equipment, supplies, specimens, and mail to various locations based on departmental needs.
  • Safely handle and transport medical gases between storage areas while maintaining accurate inventories.

Education Requirements

Compensation Range

Minimum: $16.76

Maximum: $24.65
