Diagnostic Radiologist Position Overview

Location:
UPMC Northwest, Seneca, PA

Employment Status:
Full-Time

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday with daytime shifts; no inter-site travel required. Radiologists will share weekday and weekend duties equally, averaging a 1:4 rotation.

Visa Sponsorship:
We welcome J1 Waiver and H-1B candidates for positions starting in 2027 and beyond.

Leadership Roles:
Opportunities for Medical Director or Assistant Director positions are available for qualified candidates.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Sign-On Bonus: $100,000 for this full-time, onsite role.
  • Productivity Incentive: Unlimited earning potential for physicians.
  • Additional Incentives: Eligible for up to $40,000 in quality, retention, and onsite incentives.
  • CME Funds: Support for continuing medical education.
  • Base Salary: Competitive with opportunities for additional earnings through productivity incentives.

About the Role

We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to join our collaborative and well-established department at UPMC Northwest in Seneca, PA. The department is supported by skilled Radiology Practitioner Assistants (RPAs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize all imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Perform procedures such as Fluoroscopy, Myelogram, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Thyroid Biopsy, Lumbar Puncture, and light interventional radiology for sedation procedures.
  • Collaborate with experienced RPAs to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Breast imaging experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Qualifications
  • MD/DO from an accredited medical institution.
  • American Board Eligible, American Board Certified, or Canadian Board Certified in Radiology, with strong skills in cross-sectional imaging and a broad range of general radiology procedures.
  • Ability to secure an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and necessary credentials.
  • DEA certification required.
