About the Area:
The city of Downey is rich in culture, history, and community spirit. Positioned as a gateway between Los Angeles and Orange Counties and conveniently located near major freeways, residents appreciate Downey's tranquil, family-oriented atmosphere alongside easy access to various attractions and social activities in both counties.
Working Here:
At our Downey location, we foster a collaborative and team-oriented environment, emphasizing safety for both patients and caregivers. Our leadership promotes accessibility and maintains a flat organizational structure, which helps build trust among physicians and support staff. Innovation is a key focus—Downey was the first medical center in the region to perform same-day total joint surgeries. We also prioritize efficiency by enhancing workflows throughout the medical center and ancillary offices. Additionally, we emphasize wellness, both physical and mental, offering regular opportunities for socializing, dining, and exercising together. With a high level of tertiary care, one of the largest NICUs in the region, and a dedicated OB and anesthesia team composed entirely of physicians, Downey provides outstanding service to a diverse and high-risk patient population.
Equal Employment Opportunity:
All external candidates must successfully complete a background check and drug screening. Qualified individuals with arrest and/or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, including the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance. We ensure that all qualified applicants receive equal consideration for employment, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, or disability.
