Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:45 am/7:50 am/8:00 am to 5:30 pm
  • One-hour lunch break (12:00 pm to 1:00 pm)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter prescription and patient information into the pharmacy system.
  • Fill, label, package, and prepare prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
  • Process a variety of insurance claims, including Medicaid, Medicare, commercial, and 340B-eligible prescriptions.
  • Assist patients with prescription pickups, refills, transfers, and medication inquiries, referring clinical questions to pharmacists.
  • Handle payments following strict cash-handling procedures.
  • Manage medication orders, inventory, and stock rotation; ensure removal of expired medications.
  • Support clinic medication and vaccine orders.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, medical assistants, and pharmacists for coordinated patient care.
  • Deliver compassionate customer service aligned with community health values.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of pharmacy technician experience strongly preferred.
  • Active and clear Colorado pharmacy technician license.
  • Certification from PTCB or NHA required.
  • Experience with EPIC Willow preferred; training available if needed.
