Make a real difference in the life of a young learner by bringing your school-based OT expertise to a student who needs specialized, individualized care delivered outside the traditional classroom setting.
What you bring:
- Active Occupational Therapy license and credentials
- School-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Experience supporting children/adolescents with diverse needs
- Compassion, adaptability, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to craft and implement IEP-driven therapy strategies
- Organizational skills to keep detailed session notes and collaborate with educational teams and families
Your role will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing customized, goal-oriented OT treatment plans
- Delivering hands-on interventions aligned with the student’s educational objectives
- Collaborating with family members, teachers, and school professionals remotely and/or in person as needed
- Regularly monitoring, reporting, and documenting student progress
- Helping ensure meaningful access to learning activities and promoting independence
