Make an impact in a dynamic PreK–8 educational environment as a School Psychologist. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work onsite, providing vital support throughout an entire academic year. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 24, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 35–37.5 hours. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive psychological services to students across all grade levels. Flexibility is key, as your exact caseload and grade level will be determined prior to start, and you’ll play an integral role in fostering student success.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with the School Psychologist endorsement
  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting (PreK–8 preferred)
  • Comfortable working with a range of grade levels and able to adapt to varying caseloads
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred and highly valued
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct student assessments, including psychoeducational evaluations and functional behavior assessments
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to recommend effective interventions and supports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing appropriate educational plans
  • Support crisis intervention and response as needed
  • Collaborate with other school professionals and support personnel
  • Provide counseling and strategies to assist students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
